The Boston Red Sox agreed to a one-year deal with outfielder Jarren Duran for the 2026 season on Tuesday.
Duran will earn $7.7 million with up to an additional $75,000 in incentives, according to multiple reports. The team announced the signing but not the financial terms.
Duran, 29, batted .256 with 16 homers, 84 RBIs and 24 stolen bases in 157 games this season. He led the American League in triples for the second straight season with 13.
An All-Star in 2024, Duran is a career .267 hitter with a .780 OPS, 50 homers, 226 RBIs and 91 steals in 510 games since making his debut with Boston in 2021.
